Finally I made a Nascar decision

I have been a Mark Martin fan since 1992. When he announced his retirement in 2006 and then decided to run part time, I felt I needed to find me another driver to cheer for that was full time. Don't get me wrong, I still think Mark is a great driver and a very respected driver and I will continue to show my support for him. Once Matt gets into the Nascar scene, I will pull for him as well.
During the 2007 season I cheered for Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson. During 2008 it was Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. I still had not decided on a permanent driver.
We are now into the 2009 season and I have decided and the winner is KYLE BUSCH. While I was at Bristol last year during driver introductions when they introduced Kyle everyone was booing and flipping him the bird and with grace this man rode in the back of the truck waving and smiling. Right then I knew I was going to be his number 1 fan. I love the bow he takes after everyone of his wins. I love the sarcasm. As much as people dislike Kyle, he sure can drive a car.
I really get upset with people throwing their trash and beer cans at these drivers they dislike. Regardless of how much you dislike someone, you have no right throwing beer cans at these drivers. If you dislike him so much quit going to the race because he will win a majority of them.
I realized after Martinsville this week that I was walking into a war zone wearing my Kyle Busch sweatshirt, so I purchased a "Don't be such a Dick" sticker from some guy in the parking lot. I would just hold up my sticker and take a bow.
Back on this damn beer can stuff. These idiots are sure to have a beer banned from the tracks if they continue to disrespect these drivers like this. I witnessed a few idiots throwing beer cans at Johnson when he won at Martinsville. I would love to stick those cans up their a$$.
While I was leaving the martinsville track I seen Richard Childress, Montoya, Bowyer, and Jeff Hammond. They look alot different in regular clothes instead of a walking billboard for their sponsors.
So here's to a good year with a new driver with a new fan. Good Luck Kyle and no matter how many beer cans they throw at you on the track, I am probably getting 5 times worse. But don't worry I stand my ground and cheer for you as loud as I possibly can while holding my new M&M Koozie high in the air and turning and taking my bow.

WTF!!!

What the hell are people thinking these days? Why are there so many mothers killing their children? These innocent children did not ask to be brought into this world, these mothers brought them here, just to turn around and kill them.
I have been following the Caylee Anthony story for some time now and it breaks my heart. How can someone murder this beautiful child. She is so sweet and precious and deserved to live a long wonderful life. I believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty but all this evidence sure does point to the mother. I can guarantee you if someone approached me to attempt to take my child from me, they are going to have a fight on their hands. I will not stand in shock and watch someone walk away with my child, I will on the other hand beat you down and teach you the lesson of keeping your hands off my child.
I feel for these grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony. I know they have been criticized for what they are saying and doing and protecting their daughter. Well I will not judge on that situation. You don't know how you would react if you were in this situation. I just hope they can find closure and move on with their lives but with all the media and hype on this story these grandparents will never have peace and will always be reminded of this terrible tragedy. Rest in peace beautiful Caylee..

FedEx Ground Contractor Wives Club!!

I married a Fedex Ground Contractor 5 years ago. This is a real job. I think the wives of these contractors should receive a weekly settlement for having to put up and deal with all the bs that goes along with it or give them some kind of supplement or even an extra .04 on the mile for the wife.
1. Have you ever tried to read one of these settlement statements? This is like trying to figure out the zodiac cipher.
2. How many times were you laying in bed, almost asleep, and the damn phone rings and as soon as he hangs up you hear your husband ranting and raving for 2 hours after he hung up and this continues on until the next morning and possibly into the next day.
3. How many vacations have you taken? Well not very many. We schedule our vacations from Saturday to Sunday. 2 wonderful days with a possibility of maybe NO interruptions. ok that was a lie. We have taken vacations but we have to pay dearly.. financially and mentally. We try to go somewhere with in a 4 or 5 hour radious so if something major happens we are not that far out.
4. This contract they have is worded in a way that every aspect of it there is a damn addendum that rebuts every section of the contract. Why have one?
All in all its not that bad for me because I also work a full time job so I can leave the house but as soon as I get home its fedex time.

I use to work at FedEx Ground so I can see both sides of the situations. I see Fedex side and I see my husbands side. I try to make him see the Fedex side of things and he gets upset with me because I am usually right. Things can go good for 3 or 4 months and then boom bang doo loppity pow all hell breaks loose. I try to explain he needs to take the good with the bad. You go 4 months no problems and then all of a sudden 1 issue arises and its the end of the world. Well surprise honey... I wish I could have a job and only 1 problem every 4 months. I have learned the one downfall of being a contractor is you never gain any seniority. It does not matter if you have been there 15 years or 5 years you are all treated the same. Same pay, Same treatment. You never gain anything with years of service. Not even respect.

Now onto the contractor/employee lawsuit issues. My husband would die if he had to become an employee. We have discussed this many of times due to the recent stories of all these contractors suing for employee status. He enjoys his freedom to come and go as he pleases. The free time he has. I noticed some of the managers do not understand the contract nor do they know the definition of independent contractor. If some of these newbie managers would take a contract course I think things would work better. You just have to remind them they are crossing the boundaries read section blah blah in my contract you cannot do this.

I am anxiously awaiting his 2 a.m. phone call tonight..

Liar Liar Pants on Fire

I have been trying to understand why some people tell lies that are damaging to themselves and others. Why do people do this? Is it a real mental disorder or just something to get attention? The liar is the one who is going to hurt in the long run, so why put yourself through this. Why not just be honest with everyone and be honest with yourself. I have to learn how to cope and confront a compulsive liar and I am in need of help on this. Some people lie so much if they told me it was raining I would have to look outside for myself. I believe I am dealing with a compulsive liar.

What is the Difference Between a Pathological, a Compulsive, a Chronic, and a Habitual Liar?

Pathological Liar

A pathological liar is usually defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. Pathological lying is often viewed as coping mechanism developed in early childhood and it is often associated with some other type of mental health disorder. A pathological liar is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused - it is done to get one's way). Pathological liars have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. A pathological liar often comes across as being manipulative, cunning and self-centered.

Compulsive Liar
A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response which is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship
