I'm really liking my hair

To think I have fought my curls for 38 years.. I absolutely love them now. I guess the older I get the less time I want to spend working on my mop top.. If you have never tried Devacurl, you should. I use the no poo 2-3 times a week, one condition daily, I spray matrix biolage leave in tonic and scrunch it into dripping wet hair. I then scrunch paul mitchell sculpting foam (to skimp on it) I then use the deva fuser and dry for about 1 minute in sections, then lay my ends in the fuser and do that for about a minute. I usually have to pin up my bangs because they have a curl pattern of their own.. They never lay flat and stick in different directions..

Devacurl Day 2

OMG.. My hair feels great and I am only on day 2.. Imagine the long term results.. I can't wait.. I cleansed my scalp with Deva No Poo, massaging gently into the scalp.. I rinsed and applied Deva One Condition, I raked this through my hair with my fingers for a few minutes, making sure I conditioned every strand of hair. I rinsed with warm, not hot, water, I left a little one condition in my hair. While my hair was still soaking wet, I mixed Deva Angel and Set it free in the palm of my hand and raked that cocktail through my hair. Then I tilted my head forward and scrunched all the excess water out. I then took an old Tshirt and scrunched the ends a little, just enough to absorb some dripping water. Since I am on a grow out with my bangs, these are a little struggle.. I took some Angel and ran it through my bangs and did a little side sweep.. Not like I want them but they will do.. I officially put my flat iron and curling iron in the bottom drawer out of sight.. I diffused a small section at a time for about 15-20 seconds. then I let it air dry the rest of the way.. Once it was dry I did a dry crunch on my hair and it feels wonderful and looks healthier than ever.. Thanks Devacurl.. Anxiously awaiting my devacut in Charlotte in a month or 2..

Devacurl day !

I am starting my devacurl routine today.. I have the no poo, one condition, angel, and set it free. This is the first day I used the deva products and I absolutely love it. I have stalked the devacurl facebook page for months looking at the beautiful hair cuts Lorraine Massey gives and decided its time to let this fro go.. So far my hair is extremely soft, not crunchy and wet looking as usual. One side has a tad bit of frizz coming but not much. I took some set it free and rubbed it on my frizz and poof its gone. I am having a hard time deciding what to do with these fried bangs, I have been straightening these things for 30 years. Now they just stick straight up. Right now I have them pinned back until I can find a way for them. They are a bit of a struggle but if I am going to have healthy hair again these things can stay pinned to my scalp and the world can see my movie projection forehead..

The house has been done for a year

I have so much decorating to do. I have been here for a year and my walls are still bare, cheap curtains from walmart hanging up and no decorations anywhere to be found. Finally furnished everything, I only need 1 more night stand. I will never understand why furniture stores sell bedroom sets with only 1 night stand and I buy it with 1 night stand.. I need 2..

I forgot I had a blog...

I have completely forgotten I have a blog. I have been so consumed with my virtual farm on facebook. I am getting so disgusted with facebook and farmville. Facebook to me is a place where if you add your enemies, you will have drama.. If you are being nice and adding people you really don't like, you will have drama. If you add your co workers there will be drama. I'm sticking with my blog from now on.. The last pictures I posted was the basement being poured for the house.. I will add pictures of the completed house in a few minutes. I am now on a new mission.. Save Lolita, a killer whale who is being held captive in a small tank. I have spent many days reading up on her and watching videos. It is extremely sad..

Kent's Insulation Aerospace Roanoke, VA

Just had to add my thoughts on this company.. As you are all aware we built our house. The house is complete except for the items Kent's Insulation was suppose to be here to finish 2 weeks ago. I am living in a brand new house with no mirrors, no toilet paper holders and no towel racks. Kent's was suppose to install these items for us weeks ago. We have called 3 times to ask when they will be here. The answer we received " Let me check and I will call you back". The last call we made on Wednesday December 30th, the guy acted like we were bothering him.. " a large sigh, let me check, I'll call you back".. we have heard that before. It is now Thursday December 31 and no one has called us back. With the unprofessionalism of this company, I would have to maybe even question to quality of their work now. I have figured what the hell, I have done this long without mirrors, toilet paper holders, and towel racks, I am searching for someone else to install these items. When they finally do call to see when they can come here to install, I will just sigh and say let me check AND I WILL CALL YOU BACK.. I would not recommend this company to no one. I am the first one to build in our new subdivision, so I will have alot of influence on the new ones building. I have already told my neighbor who will start building in the spring to find another insulation company and I will tell all others aswell.
